Sanford Jackson Medical Center offers chemotherapy to keep healthcare close to home for patients who need cancer treatment.

Our chemotherapy staff is trained in providing chemotherapy medications and the special care for cancer patients. Our private chemotherapy suites include comfortable seating, TVs, movies, iPads and wireless internet.

Colon cancer screenings are recommended starting at age 50 for those of average risk. Patients with a family history of colorectal cancer or polyps should contact their physicians as they may need to be screened at a younger age, and have follow-up exams at more frequent intervals.

Digital Mammography

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. In the fight against breast cancer, early detection is key. Digital mammography is aiding physicians in detecting breast cancer earlier and that technology is now available at Sanford Jackson Medical Center.

Sanford Jackson Medical Center Emergency department is an important part of our facility and community. Although a person hopes to never need to use the emergency department, we want the community to be assured that we will be here if the need arises.

Sanford Jackson Medical Center’s Emergency Department is a Trauma IV emergency care department that offers emergency care 24 hours a day regardless of age, race, religion or ability to pay.

If this sounds familiar, you may have sleep apnea syndrome. Fortunately, help may be just minutes and a few hours of monitored sleep away at Sanford Jackson.

With a physician’s order, staff will arrange a night time sleep study that will fit into your busy schedule. Studies are offered in a quiet and private area of the hospital.

The Sanford vascular team, comprised of fellowship-trained, board certified vascular surgeons, are committed to providing patients in Worthington with state-of-the-art total vascular care. Our experts treat conditions affecting the veins and arteries within your body. Most commonly, vascular surgeons provide consultations and minimally invasive treatments for aneurysms, carotid artery disease, excessive sweating, peripheral arterial disease, varicose veins, limb preservation and wound healing and poor circulation.
