24/7 Care for Children with Urgent Needs
Sanford Children’s is here for kids in need of emergency and critical care. We offer round-the-clock services when your child needs it, whether it’s from a sudden illness or injury, long-term health condition, poisoning, overdose or an accident.
Newborn babies get advanced care in our neonatal intensive care units (NICU), while critically ill children and adolescents benefit from our pediatric intensive care units (PICU) and Level II Pediatric Trauma Centers.
For babies and children who need a higher level of care, we provide emergency transportation to other hospitals. It’s not just a ride – patients receive the high-quality care they need before and during their transportation.
