Preventive Care

Preventive Care

Partner with a primary care provider to reach your best overall health throughout your lifetime.

We offer wellness visits, preventive screenings and vaccinations to catch and prevent medical issues before they become serious.

Wellness Visits

You should have a wellness visit every year. These visits are often covered by insurance at no additional cost to you.

During a wellness visit, your provider can offer:

  • A review of your medical and family history
  • Comprehensive health checks
  • Behavioral health screenings
  • Preventive screenings
  • Vaccinations
  • Health education
  • Referrals to specialty providers if needed

Children also need wellness visits. These visits are recommended annually for children ages 3 and older. Your child will need more frequent wellness visits if they’re under 3 years old.

What Preventive Screenings Do You Need?

Preventive screenings are key to catching diseases early when they’re most treatable – and before they become serious.

Your primary care provider will recommend screenings based on your medical history and personal health needs. These screenings are often a part of your wellness visits.

Below is a guide to health screenings organized by age and gender. Attend annual visits with your primary care provider to establish the right screening schedule for you based on your media history and personal health needs.
