Sanford Medical Center Fargo serves as a regional health care hub, with 60% of patients coming from outside the metro area.

Sanford Fargo is home to a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center, a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and an emergency air transport service covering a three-state area.

Our advanced stroke care team is certified to treat the most complex stroke cases. Sanford Health has the highest level of stroke certification and is a Joint Commission-approved Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Located at the intersection of two of the busiest roadways in the community – I-94 and Veterans Boulevard – Sanford Medical Center Fargo is located in the fastest growing area of North Dakota, with quick access to all areas of town.

There is plenty of parking for patients and families and a free valet parking service.

Where to Stay

Sanford Medical Center Fargo is surrounded by hundreds of new homes, apartments, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, entertainment facilities, shopping, churches and schools. Two new hotels and a new Ronald McDonald House are within easy walking distance.

Gift Shop, Restaurants & More

The medical center offers three restaurants with varied menus and a Gift Shop. The dining area has open seating with large windows and a cozy fireplace.

Throughout the medical center, you will find a variety of artwork by local artists, including photographs, quilts, paintings and mosaics.

A Private Place for Veterans & Families

A veterans club is located within the medical center for visiting veterans and their families. The area provides refreshments, TV, comfortable furniture and a place to relax and refresh.

To get to the Sanford Veterans Club, take the elevators to the Concourse Level. Upon exiting the elevator, turn left. Simply scan your veterans club badge to open the club doors.
