The Joe Lueken Cancer Center provides a patient-centered home for healing, compassion and hope. We are the region’s largest medical facility offering comprehensive cancer and blood disorder care all in one location. Patients have access to the most advanced treatments for every stage of cancer.

Sanford Health uses advanced technology to offer patients a range of treatment options. Our radiation therapy teams work with linear accelerators, which target tumors and enable us to treat patients more quickly and in fewer sessions.

We give our patients greater access to clinical trials and innovative treatments. Sanford Bemidji Joe Lueken Cancer Center is also a research site for the Minnesota Cancer Clinical Trials Network.

About Joe Lueken
Joe Lueken was a beloved husband, father, philanthropist, businessman and Bemidji advocate. At just 72 years old, Joe’s life was taken too soon by cancer. Our community remembers Joe best for his everyday acts of kindness, sense of humor, honesty and work ethic. His family agreed there was no way more fitting to celebrate and remember the local luminary than through this cancer center.
