Investing in Care and Discovery
The Sanford Initiatives have set Sanford Health apart since 2007.
These projects are designed to enhance Sanford's health care capabilities and share our expertise with the communities we serve.
One key initiative is Sanford Research. Our goal is putting research into practice - using our scientific discoveries to tackle leading health concerns. We want our research to create new therapies, medical procedures, diagnostic tools and disease prevention measures.
Other initiatives focus on children's health, sports medicine, weight loss, genetics, breast cancer and more.

The Sanford World Clinic initiative was designed to provide permanent health care services for children. Sanford World Clinic is always expanding its scope of services to meet the unique needs of the areas we serve. Broader primary care services, regenerative medicine, specialized procedures, weight loss programs, diabetes research and clinic education are just a few of the specializations developed to serve populations around the world.

Edith Sanford Breast Center
The Edith Sanford Breast Center is revolutionizing the future of breast cancer care and research. We not only provide a comprehensive range of services, but we show women - and their loved ones - what it truly means to be cared for by an expert team. Physicians, nurses, researchers and support staff become your partner, your guide and your support through it all. From prevention and screenings to diagnosis, treatment and survivorship, our specialists work diligently every day to find the answers and develop a care plan for your unique needs.
Recognizing the impact genetics has on diagnosing and treating certain health conditions, Sanford Imagenetics integrates genetic medicine into everyday primary care. See our genetic counselors before, during and after genetic testing. Find out how pharmacogenetics can improve your care. Understand how your body metabolizes medication. Learn the benefits of a family health history, and screen for inherited health risks for you and your children.
