Nichole Hassebroek is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in oncology and hematology. She helps patients through all stages of illness and provides support for the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of patients and their families, with the goal of improving quality of life for both the patient and the family.

When someone is diagnosed with a serious illness, oftentimes quality of life is affected. Nichole and the team work together with a patient’s other doctors to provide additional care, such as support for:

• Shortness of breath
• Fatigue
• Constipation
• Nausea
• Loss of appetite
• Difficulty sleeping

• Other symptoms causing distress
