Student Nurse Internship Program

Sanford Student Nurse Internship Program participants experience a day in the life of many registered nurses in a variety of roles and settings. This hands-on, 10-week paid internship enhances a student’s nursing skills under the guidance of experienced preceptors.

Nurse Residency Program

All registered nurses starting at Sanford Health with less than a year of nursing experience are automatically enrolled in the Sanford Health Nurse Residency Program.

This program helps smooth the transition from being a new graduate to becoming a professional registered nurse. Nursing residents get the personal and professional support they need to thrive and develop confidence, leadership skills and professional relationships.
