Dr. Baloun is a native of Aberdeen, SD. He graduated from the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Baloun recently completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Minnesota, and specializes in Endoscopy of the Gastrointestinal System, as well as disease of the Digestive System including the Esophagus, Stomach, Bowel, Liver, Pancreas, and Gall Bladder.
Dr. Baloun is married and has two children; he enjoys traveling, reading, and playing with his children.
