I believe in helping my patients through a more whole-body approach to health and healing. Our bodies are fantastic at healing, so long as we remove obstacles. Sometimes that is an illness or injury, sometimes it’s a bad habit or attitude. I love using osteopathic manipulation to improve structure and function when appropriate, I find it helps with so many things, from pain to gait mechanics, to general well-being. I find using several tools can be incredibly helpful in achieving good results. I strongly support using healthy habits (good foods, exercise, stress relief) to improve our lives.
I really love talking with people to discover their stories and how their history has influenced their health. I find this to be the most rewarding part of medicine—the relationships
I love cooking, hiking, running with my dog, snowshoeing, I’m excited to try cross-country skiing now that I’m in a flatter area. When the weather is bad, I read, knit, and watch movies.
