A Specialist in Pediatric Cardiology
Moeez Hassan, MD, is a certified specialist in pediatric cardiology. He treats a wide variety of heart conditions affecting children, including:
- Acquired heart diseases
- Conditions that develop after birth, such as myocarditis, pericarditis, rheumatic heart disease, Kawasaki disease, multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) and cardiomyopathy
- Congenital heart disease
- Diagnosis and management of structural heart problems present at birth, ranging from simple defects to complex congenital conditions,
- Evaluation of adults with a history of congenital heart disease
- Fetal heart conditions

Dr. Hassan serves as an assistant professor at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. He is certified in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics.
