Dr. Myers works on clinically based research in the areas of eating disorders and child maltreatment at the neuropsychiatric research institute
Dr. Myers, a licensed psychologist, provides consultation, education, assessment and treatment (individual, family and group) for adults and adolescents with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, atypical eating disorders and binge eating disorders. Dr. Myers is also involved in conducting clinically-based research in the area of eating disorders.
Tricia Cook Myers, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist with Sanford’s Eating Disorders and Weight Management Center where she provides evaluation and treatment services to children, adolescents, adults and families impacted by and eating disorder as well as provides pre-bariatric surgery psychological assessments and follow-up. Additionally, Dr. Myers works at the Neuropsychiatric Research Institute where she is involved in clinically based, grant funded research projects in the areas of eating disorders and childe maltreatment, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Neuroscience, at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Dr. Myers received her doctoral degree I clinical psychology from the University of North Dakota and completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of Chicago Medical Center with a special emphasis in behavioral medicine. She received her master’s and undergraduate degrees from North Dakota State University. She is a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders, North Dakota Psychological Association, and National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
