Dr. Vaith has worked on a variety of research projects, presentations, and publications during her time in the field.
She recently completed an AuD research capstone titled “Effects of Aging, Hormonal Fluctuation, and Cardiovascular Health on Peripheral Hearing Ability.”
In the past she has presented research posters at the 2013 and 2015 Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) National Conference.
Dr. Vaith worked with colleagues at the University of South Dakota as an invited author on an American Journal of Audiology publication from 2014 titled “Legislation Impacting Audiology and the Provision of Audiological Services: A Review of Legislation Across the United States”
Shana Vaith, Au.D., CCC-A received her doctorate in audiology in 2015 from the University of South Dakota. She completed her clinical externship at the University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development as a pediatric audiology trainee through the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training program.
Dr. Vaith grew up in South Dakota. She is married and has a daughter. In her free time she enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
