To be a collaborator with children, adolescents, and families, with the goal of supporting important changes to improve emotional health and overall well-being. With a background in family therapy, she encourages the involvement of family members as much as possible in the child/adolescent’s care, as well as the collaboration with other professionals as appropriate, such as schools, care providers, doctors, and other professionals.
Dissertation research focused on “Attachment Style Influences on Relationship Satisfaction of First-Time Parents.”
Robyn Maley received her master of arts in marriage and family therapy in 2008 from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and doctorate of psychology in 2012 from University of St. Thomas. She completed her internship specializing in mental health treatment of children, adolescents, and families at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, University Behavioral Healthcare in Newark, NJ. She completed her residency at Child and Family Therapy Associates in Fargo, ND. She is licensed with the North Dakota and Minnesota Boards of Psychology.
Robyn Maley, PsyD, is married and has a blended family with four children. She is originally from Oakes, ND, and moved back to North Dakota after completing graduate training. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, entertaining, traveling, telling stories, laughing, watching movies, and being adventurous. She loves working with children and enjoys the privilege of being a trusted partner with families.
