A Multilingual Hospital Medicine Specialist
Roxana Lupu, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She cares for the general medical needs of hospitalized patients and coordinates their care with primary care providers and specialists.
She is multilingual and fluent in English, French, Romanian and Spanish.
Her services include:
- Obtaining a patient’s medical history
- Performing physical exams
- Ordering and interpreting lab and diagnostic tests
- Prescribing medications
- Treating common illnesses
- Providing health education and counseling
Dr. Lupu also serves as an associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. She is the Director of Medical Information Officer for Sanford Health.
