Idea of Care

In osteopathic medical school, we learn about the body as a unit. This helps to shape my approach to patient care by viewing every aspect and experience of their lives as vital components of their health care. By learning about my patients personally and medically, I can treat them to the best of my ability. My osteopathic manipulative treatment is an extra benefit as it allows me to help address a patient’s musculoskeletal concerns.

Personal Interests

When Dr. McFarland is not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their two sons, including hiking, kayaking, fishing, biking, camping and disc golfing. When he’s stuck inside, he enjoys reading books, playing board games and playing video games with his son, who shares his love of Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda.
