She also brings unique interest to diagnosing and treating fibromyalgia and presented her doctoral project on “The Implementation of a Fibromyalgia Toolkit in a Rural Primary Care Clinic: An EBP Project.” She has practiced medical missions in a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh, several parts of rural Peru and Santo Toma Milpas Altas, Guatemala.
