Dr. Nielsen may be consulted to evaluate specific pregnancy-related concerns, perform specialized testing or provide expert guidance in managing complex medical conditions during pregnancy.

Idea of Care

I want my patients to know that seeing a “high-risk” specialist does not automatically mean something is wrong. It’s very common to feel anxious before a maternal-fetal medicine appointment, but in many cases, a referral from your provider simply means they are seeking an additional layer of expertise, closer monitoring or a more detailed ultrasound examination to help ensure the best possible outcome for you and your baby.

My goal is to provide guidance, support and specialized care while helping your pregnancy remain as normal and healthy as possible. Together, we’ll work to address any concerns, answer your questions and help you feel informed and confident throughout your pregnancy journey.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Dr. Nielsen enjoys hobbies that keep him active, creative and connected to his community. He is an avid hiker who appreciates the opportunity to experience nature, challenge himself and discover new trails.

Dr. Nielsen’s love of traveling and lifelong curiosity about the world has also allowed him to experience different cultures, cuisines and perspectives. He enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, drawing inspiration from his travels and local culinary traditions.
