April met her husband in high school, married him after graduation and they now have two sons and two daughters. Her husband works in construction regionally. Her family has been supportive of all of her career goals. She and her spouse grew up in the Red River Valley and most of their extended family is still in the area. April enjoys riding her horse, four-wheeling and traveling. Her kids keep her busy with church and school activities, plus year-round sports.
