While I currently provide care for adults, my training in pediatrics has given me a unique framework for diagnosing and treating illness. My experience at large, safety-net institutions in big cities, combined with growing up in rural Maine, has shaped my ability to care for patients of all backgrounds and walks of life.

In his free time, Dr. McGowan enjoys traveling, exercising, working on his small farm, remodeling his old farmhouse and spending time with his wife.
