Investing in Rural Communities and Beyond
Healthy economies support healthy communities. To evaluate our economic impact, we partnered with an external firm to conduct a study utilizing IMPLAN, a nationally recognized economic impact modeling system to calculate the 2020 impact from Sanford's operations in South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. This 2020 economic impact report shows that our community benefits reach far beyond our charitable donations. They extend from primary markets to rural and underserved communities. And they show the strength of our growing workforce, who are the foundation of it all. Our economic strength increases our ability to provide charitable care and community benefits. See the numbers for yourself.
