Who can complete an e-visit?
E-visits are available to anyone in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
When to do an e-visit
E-visits are appropriate for several common issues including:

How to do an e-visit
- Sign in to your My Sanford Chart account.
- Follow the prompts to describe your symptoms and complete the e-visit questionnaire.
- Wait for a diagnosis and treatment plan.
How much does an e-visit cost?
E-visits are $39. To pay for the visit, you can use a credit, debit, FSA or HSA card.
Who can complete an on-demand video visit?
On-demand video visits are available to anyone in Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Texas.
When to do an on-demand video visit
On-demand video visits are appropriate for urgent care health needs, including:

- Follow the prompts to get started. After answering a few short questions, you’ll receive a message in My Sanford Chart when a provider is ready to begin.

Virtual behavioral health visits are available to anyone ages 10 and older in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota.
When to do a virtual behavioral health visit
Schedule an online behavioral health visit with a therapist if you’re experiencing:

- A lack of interest in activities you once enjoyed
- A new mental health concern
- Symptoms of burnout
- Relational or emotional issues, including trouble managing emotions
- Unhealthy habits that are affecting your quality of life
Schedule an online behavioral health visit with a psychiatrist if you:
- Are noticing significant changes in your mood, such as going from feeling sad to energetic in a short period of time
- Are taking medications for conditions such as bipolar disorder, ADHD or schizophrenia
- Have seen a psychiatrist in the past
- Have seen or heard things that others do not
