I chose family practice as my specialty because my inner ER nurse loves variety. I enjoy interacting with patients of all ages, but I especially love seeing kids.
My role as a nurse practitioner is to give my patients expert, evidenced-base advice, guidance, and support as they create and achieve their health goals.
Prior to completing my doctor of nursing practice degree, I worked as an Emergency Room (ER) nurse for 9 years. I also worked as a nurse in a clinic for Spanish speaking patients and as a Spanish medical interpreter.
I am originally from Morris, MN and am excited to return to the area to be closer to my extended family and friends. I am married and have two daughters, ages seven and two, and a miniature labradoodle named Ella.
I enjoy reading, yoga, kayaking, and playing outside with my girls. I also enjoy playing tennis. In fact, as a high school student I used to play tennis against Parkers Prairie!
