A Specialist in Breast Surgery
Diane Ellis, MD, is a fellowship-trained breast surgeon with board certification in obstetrics and gynecology. She cares for patients with the following concerns:
- Abnormal breast imaging
- Benign breast disease, including genetic risk syndromes

- High-risk legions

Dr. Ellis is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences.
She has previous leadership experience in curriculum development, clinical training, quality improvement and global health initiatives. She has significant experience in global health, having served as an educator and medical missionary in Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Ghana and Uganda.
