A Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
As a neonatal nurse practitioner, Brittany Keller works with neonatologists and other team members to take care of premature and critically ill newborn babies in the NICU.
She cares for infants with a range of conditions including:
- Congenital anomalies
- Congenital heart disease
- Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy
- Prematurity
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Respiratory failure
- Seizures
- Sepsis
She specializes in resuscitation and stabilization of infants at birth.
She is also a neonatal resuscitation program instructor and a lead neonatal nurse practitioner for the NICU AirMed transport team providing ground and air transport for sick infants across the region.
