Kristine Martens, DO

Dr. Kristine Martens enjoys being a family medicine practitioner. She enjoys getting to do many hands-on procedures and feels she does a lot for her patients, especially for those from rural areas. With many of her OB patients, she usually ends up providing care for the whole family. After delivering babies, she is often the primary care provider for these newborns. If she wasn't initially seeing the children's siblings, they're usually transferred to her care later so she can care for the entire family. Dr. Martens feels her job is to offer evidence-based recommendations to her patients. She tells patients what she would do in a similar situation, and makes sure her patients are the final decision-makers in their care.
