The Diabetes Prevention Program is a year-long program consisting of:
- 16 core sessions offered weekly or bi weekly
- Followed by 6 monthly sessions
- Focus is on healthy eating and increasing activity
The goals of the program are to lose 7 percent of your body weight and increase physical activity to a minimum of 150 minutes per week.
