The Sanford Sleep Disorder Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and is specially designed for sleep studies. Sleep studies take approximately seven hours and will not interfere with daytime activities for most patients.
During a study, patients will stay in a quiet, comfortable room. Each room includes a bathroom and shower. Technicians in an adjacent room will observe and record sleep patterns, body movements and heart and respiratory activity.
