Epic Haiku/Canto Configurator
You are three steps away from using Haiku and Canto on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. These applications are only available to physicians, APPs, and residents who have a clinical need-to-know and are qualified by Sanford Health policy to access patient information from off-campus. Any other users requesting access for Haiku or Canto will need to contact their immediate supervisor to have an ESAR completed.
Step 1. Install Haiku or Canto. You can install from the links below.
After installing the app you will need to return to this page to continue step 2.
Step 2. Set up the link to Sanford One Chart. The instructions below will work from your mobile device only (not your PC/Mac). This will help preconfigure the Haiku/Canto applications.
- From your mobile device, select this link for Haiku (Works on the iPhone-iOS version 6.0 or greater and Android 2.3.3 or greater)
- From your mobile device, select this link for Canto (iPad specific min. iOS version 6.0 or greater)
Step 3. Using Haiku or Canto – connectivity options:
- At Sanford Health facilities: Connect to or search for the “iConnect” Wi-Fi network while on campus. LTE through your mobile phone carrier should work well in general, but coverage may vary by carrier and location within facilities.
- Off campus: Use your device’s cellular carrier service (3G/4G/LTE, etc.) or any secure Wi-Fi connection.
