Bemidji Blood Screening

Bemidji Blood Screening

Notice: We know you were looking forward to this event and thank you for your understanding that for the health and well-being of our community we need to reschedule our event. The lessons that we’re learning from the countries where COVID-19 first spread, are that social distancing and responsible event management are key to reducing the overall number of infected persons and that by slowing the spread, we will protect the resources we have to manage the infection.

Have your blood screened.

Bemidji Rotary and Sanford Bemidji invite you to have your blood screened at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center for only $35 from 7 to 10 a.m. on May 13, 14 & 15.

With a simple blood test, you can discover a wealth of information regarding your health including the diagnosis and possible treatment of many diseases.

The test includes screenings for:

  • Cholesterol (blood lipids)
  • Triglyceride (blood fats)
  • High density lipoproteins (HDL)
  • Low density lipoproteins (LDL)
  • Glucose (blood sugar)
  • Creatinine
  • Hemoglobin
  • White blood count
  • Liver (ALT)

Fasting is not a requirement before the test. You may still fast, with the exception of water, between nine and 12 hours before the test.

If you have questions about taking any prescription medications, please contact your primary care provider.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Bemidji Rotary Club and the North Country Park Playground.
