Treatment and Management of Diabetes
The 2026 Diabetes Symposium will provide attendees with the most up-to-date changes and recommendations for the treatment and management of diabetes through the practical application of today's diabetes technology. A registered dietitian will reveal the importance of nutrition with GLP-1 agonists in weight management and how to deal with negative self-talk that can impede behavior change. We will illustrate the effectiveness of team management of diabetes in primary care. We will address the use of GLP-1 agonists in management of MASLD/MASH. Living with diabetes can take an emotional toll on families. We will discuss family dynamics and challenges faced by families of children with diabetes along with strategies to help.
