Announcing Sanford Bemidji Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center Expansion

Ground breaking takes place today for the new Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center Expansion in Bemidji

(Bemidji, MN) – Today Sanford Bemidji will break ground for the new Sanford Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Center.

Sanford, Bemidji,Orthopedic, SportsThe two-story, 46,385 square foot expansion to the northwest side of the hospital, is expected to open spring 2013. Kraus-Anderson Bemidji has been named the general contractor for the approximately $9 million construction project. The groundbreaking illustrates Sanford Health’s promise of growth and long-term commitment for the Bemidji region.

The Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center will integrate the services and clinicians from Sanford Bemidji orthopedics, sports medicine and rehab/Peak Performance therapy services to one central location within the hospital.  The project ensures that patients in northern Minnesota have the best of the best close to home.
