Sanford Worthington welcomes new provider
Michelle Kutzke, C.N.P., W.H.N.P, has joined the Sanford Worthington Clinic team and will begin seeing patients September 1 at the Family Practice clinic located on Diagonal Road. Kutzke is a Womens’ Health Nurse Practitioner, focusing her care on wellness and seeing female teenagers, young adults, middle age, and menopausal women.
Kutzke received her bachelors in nursing undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University, Brookings, South Dakota. She completed her master of science in Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska. She is certified by the National Certification Corporation: Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in caring for women across the lifespan from teenage years, to pregnancy and through midlife changes.
“Michelle Kutzke, C.N.P., W.H.N.P., was familiar with our community through her work with the Sanford Health Coop, a nurse focused clinic funded by a HRSA grant,” stated said Jennifer Weg, executive director at Sanford Worthington. “She is now utilizing her womens’ health specialty training, and will meet the needs of many women needing to establish a local primary care provider.”
Michelle Kutzke is married and has two children. Her husband is a high school social studies teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on her children at sporting events, riding bicycle, hiking in the Black Hills, reading, and traveling.
