Sanford Vermillion August PRIDE Employee of the Month
Vermillion, SD – Sue Johnson, Patient Access Representative, Sanford Care Center Vermillion, was selected as the August Sanford Vermillion PRIDE Employee of the Month. She has been employed with Sanford since June 2007.
Nominations for Sue included the following:
Sue is a hard worker and always puts the residents first. Always eager to help. She always goes above & beyond!
From a resident: Sue – you are great! Remember the Fad Shop – I can see you yet saying, “Oh – look at this!”
Sue is one of the most up-beat, servant heart people I know here! You can hear her contagious laugh as she greets residents, staff and family all with a hearty "hello"!! She is our "go-to" person in so many ways at the Care Center! She has patience and always takes time to help everyone. A real joy and much needed "hub" of our care center "wheel!"
Thank you for everything you do for all of us!
“Sue is a real asset to the facility,” comments Gayle Matzke, Director of Nursing, Sanford Vermillion Medical Center.
Sue was previously recognized as PRIDE Employee of the Month in August 2010 and in September 2011.
Sue is a native of Vermillion and currently resides in Meckling with her husband Marty. Sue has four children (Trevor, Tyler, Tara and Tasia) and seven grandchildren (Kayleen, Kambry, Ian, Duke, Nola, Masan and one due in October). In Sue’s spare time, she loves flowers, plants, gardening and spending time with her family.
