Whether you're a stay at home mom managing a household, a career woman balancing work and family or a woman who is simply tired of feeling like she's living an overloaded existence, you need to achieve balance in your life. You can begin by: Taking Time for You!

A Saturday for Me is on March 24, 2007, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. The program includes a morning snack, an exhibit show and lunch. Tickets cost $28.

More than 900 women attend the annual event sponsored by Sanford Health (formerly Sioux Valley). This is the 17th year of A Saturday for Me. A Saturday for Me is for women who live busy lives and feel there is not enough “me” time. Women of all ages and all walks of life are invited to attend.

"A Saturday for Me provides women an opportunity to ‘pause’ and focus on themselves," says Kim Overby, Director of Women’s Community Programming at Sanford USD Medical Center. "This day promotes women to take care of themselves so they can be healthier emotionally, socially and physically. Each year, women come with friends and family to enjoy this day of rejuvenation."

Nancy Coey, the keynote speaker for this year’s event, says she is driven to help women tend to their own well-being. She believes that every woman has a moral responsibility to be happy and lead an energized, fulfilling life. The day is intended to give women of all ages and backgrounds a venue to take time out of their busy schedules and enjoy themselves.
