All Clear Hospital Resumes Normal Operations Clinics Remain Closed

As of 3:30 p.m. MeritCare Hospital, 801 Broadway N., is returning to normal operations after clearing our facilities due to a bomb threat that was received this morning at 11:35 a.m. Downtown MeritCare Clinics will resume normal operations tomorrow.

As of 3:30 p.m. MeritCare Hospital, 801 Broadway N., is returning to normal operations after clearing our facilities due to a bomb threat that was received this morning at 11:35 a.m. Downtown MeritCare Clinics will resume normal operations tomorrow.

All necessary precautions were taken to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

Other Information:
  • MeritCare Hospital is no longer diverting patients or ambulances.

  • All clinic appointments for today at the following locations will remain canceled and the facilities will remain closed until tomorrow:
    • MeritCare Heart Center Clinic
    • MeritCare Broadway Clinic
    • MeritCare Broadway Health Center


  • Mills Avenue Pharmacy in MeritCare Hospital has reopened.

  • All patients will be contacted to reschedule their canceled appointments.

  • MeritCare employees should report to work as normal for their scheduled shifts.
