Parents Encouraged To Bring Their Children In For Flu Shots

MeritCare is encouraging parents with children age 17 and under to bring their children in for a flu shot. For the past two years, MeritCare has received less than its normal supply of pediatric vaccine; this year, more vaccine is available. This has led the organization to try to get the word out for parents to bring their children in. Getting the flu shot now will still be beneficial.

  • Parents should call their child's doctor's office to make an appointment.
  • If you have health-related questions or concerns about the flu, call MeritCare ASK-A-NURSE at 234-5000 or (800) 821-5167.
