Youth Sports Clinics

To extend Roger Maris’ passion for improving youth development through sports, multiple youth sports clinics will be held throughout the week. Both the Maris family and Sanford Health believe youth participation in sports helps teach sportsmanship, teamwork and leadership, while building self-confidence.

Each clinic is free to attend and will help build the confidence kids need to make the right decisions—on and off the field. Clinics will be conducted by professional athletes and the region’s best coaches.

Youth Sports Clinics Schedule

Monday, June 17

Football youth clinic – For boys and girls

• 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. for ages 6-9
• 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. for ages 10-12

Basketball youth clinic

• 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. for girls ages 10-13
• 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. for boys ages 10-13

Football and basketball clinics will take place at the Fargo Parks Sports Center at the Sanford Sports Complex (6100 38 St. S., Fargo, ND).

Tuesday, June 18

Baseball youth clinic – For boys and girls

• 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. for ages 6-7
• 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. for ages 8-10
• 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. for ages 11-12

Softball youth clinic – For boys and girls

• 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. for ages 6-7
• 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. for ages 8-10
• 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. for ages 11-12

Baseball and softball clinics will take place at Fargo Youth Baseball Headquarters, aka "The Attic" (1892 17th Ave S, Fargo, ND, 58103). Limit 50 participants per session.

Wednesday, June 19

Pickleball youth clinic – For boys and girls

• 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. for ages 9 -12

Located at Brunsdale Park (1702 27th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103).

Thursday, June 20

Golf youth clinic – For boys and girls

• 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. for ages 7-10

Located at Rose Creek Golf Course (1500 East Rose Creek Pkwy S, Fargo, ND 58104).

Friday, June 21

Hockey youth clinic

• 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. for boys ages 8-10
• 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for girls ages 8-10

Hockey clinics will take place at Cullen Hockey Center (707 Main Ave SE, Moorhead, MN 56560). Limit 40 participants per session.

Volleyball youth clinic

• 11:00 am - 12:30 p.m. for ages 10-11
• 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. for ages 12-13

Volleyball clinics will take place at the Fargo Parks Sports Center at the Sanford Sports Complex (6100 38 St. S., Fargo, ND).
