Meet Our Team

Jeff Askew, DC

Dr. Jeff Askew received a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from North Dakota State University in 1975 and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in (Davenport, IA) in 1980. Since then he has achieved additional certifications in Chiropractic Orthopedics through National College of Chiropractic (Lombard, IL) and in Whiplash Traumatology through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego (San Diego, CA). He is a past president of the North Dakota Chiropractic Association and a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists.  He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Clinical Compass, a group formed with support of several national organizations to keep the profession informed as to the best scientific evidence with which to make decisions in patient care. He is on the Preceptor Faculty of Northwestern College of Chiropractic and is a consultant for numerous insurance companies.  His philosophy of care is to first use scientifically-supported best standards of practice to help his patients get back to work and play as quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. Then he wants to empower his patients with an understanding of how they got hurt and what they can do at home to avoid a reoccurrences. In his personal time, he enjoys waterskiing, music, fitness training, and cycling and now that his two children have left the nest he would like to return to the sport of triathlon.  He and his wife treasure the times when the nest temporarily refills over a weekend when their kids come home.


Jesse Kovash, DC

Dr. Jesse Kovash is a chiropractor for Sanford Health in Dickinson, ND. He completed his undergraduate education and obtained a bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2010. He is a member of the North Dakota Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association. He sees patients for a wide variety of conditions, but most commonly sees patients for neck pain, back pain, and headaches. His practice philosophy utilizes a combination of chiropractic manipulations (adjustments), soft-tissue therapies, and exercises to help you feel better more quickly. In his spare time, Dr. Kovash enjoys spending time with his wife Patty and his dog Gertrude, fishing, hunting, woodworking, biking, and exploring the mountains.


Eric Seamands, DC

Dr. Eric Seamands is a chiropractor for Sanford Health in Bismarck, ND.  He obtained a bachelor’s of science degree during his undergraduate education at NDSU.  Following that he went on to earn a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University (Bloomington, MN) in 2012.   He is a member of the North Dakota Chiropractic Association and American Chiropractic Association. He specializes in the treatment and coordination of care for patients in need of chiropractic services, most commonly helping with neck and back issues. His practice philosophy is to get you feeling better while giving you tips, tools, and active care advice to continue to improve and avoid aggravations after you leave the office. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Seamands enjoys spending time with his family (wife and two boys), fishing, hunting, playing guitar, traveling, and occasionally helping on the family farm in Hettinger.
