| Sanford Transplant Center is a comprehensive program designed to address the needs of the population of patients requiring specialized transplant management. Understanding the complexity of care and the importance of education and support of a community based transplant center, Sanford developed the program with the community and surrounding areas in mind. The Center was created to facilitate those patients in need of kidney transplant care within one center strategically located and easily accessible. The knowledgeable staff is prepared to field questions regarding transplant, live donation, pre-transplant and post-transplant care. They also have the knowledge and experience to efficiently direct your care through the transplant process if kidney transplant is the treatment option you have chosen or continue your ongoing care following transplant. Education, communication and a partnership with the patient and referring physician is what sets Sanford Transplant Center apart from other transplant centers across the nation.
