The program is open to Sanford Health employees, those who have a family member employed by Sanford Health or those training in Sanford Health facilities, and who have been accepted to or are in CRNA training, medical training or the Sanford Health Psychology Internship Consortium. You can participate in the program at any time during your training.

Membership
Members can attend events in professional development, networking and specialty exploration. They will also receive general support from Sanford Sons & Daughters and assistance reviewing projected career opportunities. Apply through the link below or the form at the bottom of this page.

Financial Support
To assist with educational and living expenses, members in good standing are eligible to apply for scholarships as well as scholar loans. Members who receive loans will receive career counseling.

The scholarship and loan application opens annually in May and closes in July. Contact the program for specific dates.

Programs

Medicine (MD, DO)
Supports medicine trainees throughout medical school, residency and fellowship. In addition, a primary care and rural medicine track assists those pursuing careers in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and rural medicine when they match into a residency program.

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA)
Supports those pursuing master’s (MSN) or doctoral (DNP) degrees as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA).

Psychology (PhD, PsyD)
Provides program membership to interns in the Sanford Health predoctoral psychology internship consortium upon matching into the internship program.

Membership Eligibility

  • Current Sanford Health employee accepted into a training program, or
  • Family member of a current employee, or
  • Trainee currently training with Sanford Health, and
  • Have an A or B grade average, satisfactory marks or a letter of good standing

  • Participation in annual professional development session
  • Biannual program check-in
