Nine basketball courts, 160,000 square feet, the cornerstone of the Sanford Sports Complex – created to support our commitment for a healthier community. This is the Sanford Pentagon.
The Pentagon’s driving force is to connect youth to sports and provide them unprecedented opportunities to develop their skills. It will empower our young athletes, and build their self-esteem and character. They will also learn the value of an active, healthy lifestyle.
In addition to Sanford POWER Basketball and Volleyball Academies, the 3,200 seat Pentagon is home to the NBA G League Sioux Falls Skyforce, Augustana University men's and women's basketball, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women’s and Men’s Basketball tournaments and the South Dakota High School Basketball Hall of Fame.
