Dr. Jeffrey A. Murray is a Gastroenterologist-Hepatologist at Sanford Gastroenterology Clinic. Dr. Murray has been in private practice for over 25 years and has a special interest in reflux disease, inflammatory bowel diseases such as Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease. He is also passionate about preventing colon cancer through screening colonoscopy. He currently serves as Medical Director for the Endoscopy Unit, and is Vice Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology-Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology-Hepatology.
He enjoys spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He also enjoys fishing (especially Canadian freshwater fishing), turkey hunting, playing guitar, and long distance running.
