Dr. Guerrero draws upon evidence-based medicine and incorporates this knowledge in his practice. He imparts this information to his patients as he is a firm believer that adequate patient education is key to a management and future prevention.
Dr. Guerrero was a recipient of a one year training grant on antimicrobial resistance. He worked extensively on translational research on the epidemiology and transmission of Clostridium difficile. His last year of training was devoted almost entirely to research at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland, OH, wherein he worked closely with his mentor and co-authored several studies and presentations.
Dr. Guerrero is married and has a son & daughter who keep him entertained and preoccupied when he isn’t at work. Dr. Guerrero values time with family, both in and out of the home. His favorite things include family trips and home improvement projects.
