Sanford Cancer’s PsychOncology specializes in addressing the psychological, lifestyle and social aspects of cancer. Our therapists work with cancer patients to help them identity lifestyle factors that may impact their cancer therapy and remission and also cope with the lifestyle/social changes brought on by a cancer diagnosis. Services include inpatient and outpatient treatment and individual counseling.
Ann Sandgren, PhD PsychOncology
Dr. Sandgren is a clinical health psychologist who helps patients deal with the psychological and emotional aspects of life-changing or life-limiting disease. She provides therapy and support to Sanford’s cancer patients in Fargo with both inpatient and outpatient services.
