Sanford Children’s provides individualized nutrition plans and expertise for infants through young adults affected by nutritional disorders, deficiencies, chronic illness, obesity and eating disorders. Our pediatric dieticians work individually with parents and children to help them select appropriate foods, vitamins and minerals for overall health and specific medical conditions. We also provide community education programs to promote healthy eating and wellness to schools, churches, community groups and professionals.
The USDA has updated the traditional Food Guide Pyramid to make it easier than ever to understand what types of food and how much your child should be getting every day to stay trim and healthy.Learn More
