While this disease is rare – less than 100 new cases in children are diagnosed each year in the U.S. – it requires highly specialized treatment. Dr. Blake is a pediatrician who specializes in diagnosing and treating children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral developmental disabilities. He also serves as an assistant professor of pediatrics at the Sanford School of Medicine, University of South Dakota. He heads Sanford Children’s Myelodysplasia Clinic.
