Class will cover the law, the type of seat, and where they get placed for newborns. Class is for Expentant Parents in the 6th - 7th month of pregnancy - but you are welcome anytime during your pregnancy.
This class will assist you and your partner in understanding the breastfeeding process and the benefits to both Mom and baby. We recommend that you take this class between your 32nd and 34th week of pregnancy. This class is included as one of the sessions of the 8 week series and the 6 week series.
Having your own children in your daycare can be a challenge. Learn some ideas and strategies to balance the needs of their own child (ren) with in your daycare.
Participants will learn ways to set up an environmnet for young children and discover what young children are learning during daily routines.

Weekly discussion group for new moms and their babies meets every Thursday.
Statistically four out of five car seats are installed incorrectly. Every Thursday of each month Safe Kids Fargo/Moorhead conducts Car Seat Check Up Events at The Safety Shoppe from 1:45-4:45 p.m. Trained technicians will be available to assist parents, grandparents, and caregivers with using their car seats correctly. They also distribute educational materials and safety devices such as bike helmets for a $10 donation (and they make sure they fit properly).
