This is a 2 hour class taught by American Heart Association instructors.This class includes infant and child cardiopulmonary resusitation (CPR), choking and demonstration of an automated external defibrillator. This class is for anyone caring for baby. This is not an accreditation course, no card. Classes are held twice a month with one evening class and one Saturday class. June, July and August there will be no Saturday classes. Classes are subject to availability.
This class will assist you and your partner in understanding the breastfeeding process and the benefits to both Mom and baby. We recommend that you take this class between your 32nd and 34th week of pregnancy. This class is included as one of the sessions of the Birthing with Confidence: 7 week series.
This class offers factual, practical research-based information on breastfeeding for the pregnant woman and her support persons. It will focus on information on the benefits of breastfeeding, positioning, and support to promote a positive breastfeeding experience. Classes are subject to availability.
