Weekly discussion group for new moms and their babies meets every Thursday.
Statistically four out of five car seats are installed incorrectly. Every Thursday of each month Safe Kids Fargo/Moorhead conducts Car Seat Check Up Events at The Safety Shoppe from 1:45-4:45 p.m. Trained technicians will be available to assist parents, grandparents, and caregivers with using their car seats correctly. They also distribute educational materials and safety devices such as bike helmets for a $10 donation (and they make sure they fit properly).
This information and support program is for women with breast cancer. It is an opportunity to visit with other women who share a similar experience.
Parents or loved ones of babies who entered this world early or anyone who has a child who has spent time in the NICU is welcome to this group.
Look Good Feel Better is a free program designed for women dealing with hair loss and skin changes from chemotherapy and radiation.

This is a 2 hour class taught by American Heart Association instructors.This class includes infant and child cardiopulmonary resusitation (CPR), choking and demonstration of an automated external defibrillator. This class is for parents delivering their babies at Sanford Health. This is not an accreditation course, no card. Classes are held twice a month with one evening class and one Saturday class. June, July and August there will be no Saturday classes. Classes are subject to availability.
This class will provide hands-on education regarding care for your newborn. Your questions and concerns will also be addressed. This class is intended for 1st time parents. Adoptive parents are encouraged to attend
This support group provides emotional and social support for people with cancer.

Family & Friends CPR - Adult. This 1 hour class is taught by American Heart Association CPR instructors.The class includes heart attack signs and signals, safety and accident prevention, choking, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for Adults. This class is for Sanford cardiac patients and their family members. This is not a certification course, No card.
