Title:

The REALITY Study Directional Atherectomy Drug-Coated Balloon to Treat Long Calcified FemoropopliTeal Artery Lesions

Description:
The REALITY study is designed to collect information during a procedure for treating blockage in blood vessels. This procedure uses two common devices, one to clear the blockage within the vessel and one to help ensure lasting integrity of the blood vessel. The data collected will determine how successful the combination of these two devices used together is for preventing additional blockage within the vessel for two years. To understand the long-term success of this procedure, study participants will need to return for a few visits during the two-year window of the study. Images will be taken during these visits to measure the absence of blockage within the treated vessel. All data collected at the end of the study will be used to support a vessel-blockage ranking system prior to treatment and to assess long-term outcomes of the combinatorial therapy.
