Location:
Sanford Health's multi-subspecialty hospital-based pathology group is seeking an AP/CP Board Certified, GI/liver fellowship-trained pathologist for a full-time position. Position weighted toward GI/liver signout; preference to candidates with strong surgical pathology training/background. Additional interest/expertise in GU pathology preferred.
Practice Details:
- Guaranteed salary first 2 years, with upside opportunity starting year 2
- 14 pathologists (13 subspecialty fellowship-trained, including 2 GI/liver), 4 pathology assistants
- Hybrid subspecialty model for surgical pathology with emphasis in a subset of organ systems
- Annual volume of 50000+ surgical cases, 700 bone marrows, 30000 GYN cases, 3000 non-GYN cytology cases
- Subspecialized signout of hematopathology, cytopathology, and dermatopathology
- 6 pathology assistants/grossing staff perform all gross dissections including frozen sections
- No autopsies
- Laboratory medical directorships
- Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center
